Voltage Current Probe Cable Repair

We  have some reports of the wires breaking on the Voltage and Current Probes. We will improve the design in the future, but for now, encourage your students to be gentle!  The conductors in the wire will break rather quickly if the cable is pulled hard from side to side.

Preliminary Fix

We have a preliminary fix which consists of encasing the connector and about 1.25" of the cable in clear PVC heat shrink tubing.  After shrinking the tubing we use a nylon tie to bind the heat shrink tubing around the bundle of wires.  The fix is pictured below:
