At the Concord Consortium we believe that emerging technologies offer a key to improved learning for all students. Since 1996 we have pioneered the development of well-designed, interactive learning materials.

We do research on the effects of technology in education. We have some exciting and important research results that confirm our basic tenant that technology enhanced student activities can improve education.

Current Projects
The majority of work done by the Concord Consortium is done in the form of projects. These projects are funded by agency grants, typically the National Science Foundation and the Department of Education.

Outreach
In addition to our projects, the Concord Consortium also maintains several sites used for furthering knowledge of technology and education, specifically sites dealing with probes, handhelds, and handheld software.
