Connecting a Mac computer with a USB adaptor

  1. Note that the computer communication cable has a large female comport connector (one with holes) on one end.

  2. Obtain the KeySpan adaptor and accompanying software. Load the KeySpan software on the computer according to the instructions included with the adaptor. Reboot your computer.

  1. Attach the computer communication cable to the KeySpan port. Be sure to align the posts with the correct hole configuration that is available on the KeySpan adaptor.

  1. Plug-in the USB connector to the computer.
