To check the available port, open the Start Menu. Then click on the Settings and then on Control Panel.

A control panel window will open.

Then click on System and then select the Device Manager from the new window. Click on Ports (com&LPT). The Communications port will be visible as Port (Com #). In this case it is COM2.
