HAZE SENSOR

What better way to become aware of your environment then to take an active role in monitoring it? Very few sun photometers are in use around the world. By allowing amateur scientists of all ages to construct and use sun photometers such as the Visible Haze Sensor (otherwise known as the TERC VHS-1 detector designed and created for Global Lab), a large amount of data can be collected. Compiling and analyzing this data will provide valuable information to recognize global trends in haze.

Spinning Healthy Earth

The Haze-SPAN web site hopes to accomplish this and more. This information will lead to a healthier environment in the future!
The Haze-SPAN site contains five areas which we encourage everyone to explore.
